FEATURED ARTIST!!!!!! Marques Toliver!!!!

I admire real artists. Artists who use any and opportunity to passionately express themselves with an edge of rawness and truth. Artists like Marques Toliver.

Who is Marques Toliver? I couldn't say it any better than

"Marques’ sound encompasses aspects of the urban world, classical, and also philosophical thought, bringing forth the music in which you hear. His songs correlate to human awareness and existence with a humor evoked spirit to them. Picking up the guitar in winter of 2005 his list of instruments include violin, voice, guitar, and piano. It is his wish that his craft will enable others to become more aware of themselves and the beauty of the things around them."

The Blackcabsession did a wonderful job recording him. I hope you enjoy listening to him as much as I did :)

FEATURED ARTIST!!!!!! Hird!!!!!

I have always loved Hird. Smooth, mellow, and electronic sounds always sets me in a blissful mix of energetically calm vibes. If I had to give this genre of music a title I would call it electronic soul. Its awesome. I really enjoy it.

By the way. Yes, I have disappeared once again. Through all the hustle and bustle of graduation, finding a place, and getting settled at a new job, I had to get comfortable. So yes, that is right readers. I have graduated!!! Congrats class of 2011!!! Whoop! Whoop! FROM NOW ON, you will see more of me. I promise :)

This is my first blog post I have written in my new place. I am finally comfortable with my surroundings, at peace with my past, and excited about my future. I can't wait to see what life will bring...

So yes, please enjoy the following tunes by Hird. I hope you like them as much as I do :)

Lace Fever!

For some time I have noticed Lace Fever popping all over stores for the upcoming Spring weather. Many of these garments includes airy tops or sweeping maxi dresses with intricate and beautiful lace, attached with a matching undershirt. The cool airy silhouettes will be a great addition to your Spring/Summer wardrobe.

Whether you'll find crocheted lace or woven lace, it is all there this season. The following are "Lace Fever" shirts I have seen from various online stores. What do you think? Are you going to add one to your wardrobe? I really want the Black Lace Dress from Zara. I definitely love the blouses and can see myself wearing one with nice summer shorts or slimming skinny's! I can't wait to run to the fabric store and make my own! Enjoy :)
